Virg Bernero receives endorsement from UAW (4/17/10)

DETROIT-- Citing his experience at creating jobs and tackling tough budget issues, the UAW Michigan Community Action Program (CAP) unanimously endorsed Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero for governor in the Democratic primary.

Members of FairImage.org meet with Lansing, MI mayor Virg Bernero (12/31/09)

Members of the FairImage.org group had a breakfast meeting with Lansing mayor (and potential MI gubernatorial candidate) Virg Berneo on December 31st. As FairImage.org readers may be aware, Mayor Bernero has been an outspoken national advocate for Michigan's autoworkers, and workers in general. If you aren't aware of his passion on these issues, check out his past appearances on FOX, CBS and CNN. (At right)

All of us were impressed with Virg's knowledge of the issues, and his willingness to listen to our points about outdated US trade policies that are still fighting Soviet communism; trading our industrial base for prosperity in Europe and Asia... Meanwhile the streets of Shanghai are being paved with gold.

That's not protectionism folks, that's just telling the truth!

FairImage.org is a non-partisan group, but we are pleased to see a candidate who is a fighter; in the words of a prominent internet blogger, "He is a Type-A elected official, rather than a passive governor content to sit on the sidelines and watch the population flee the state like a burning house."
